Who we are

TikTok Story Viewer is an independent project launched in 2024 with a single goal: let anyone view public TikTok stories without logging in, without installing apps and without leaving a footprint on the creator's profile. We are a small team of web developers obsessed with privacy, performance and minimalist design.

We are not TikTok. We are not affiliated with ByteDance. We do not sell data. All we do is make publicly available TikTok content easier to access through a faster, cleaner and more private interface than the official one.

Our mission

We believe consuming public content should not require handing over your identity. Every time you open TikTok with your account, the platform records which story you watched, how long you paused on each frame and which creators you check most often. That data feeds advertising profiles that escape your control.

Our mission is to offer an alternative: viewing stories anonymously, with no account, no persistent cookies and no identity shared with the content creator. The author will never see your name in the viewer list because there simply is no name to send.

How it works

When you enter a username, our server queries TikTok's public APIs from its own infrastructure, collects profile metadata and active stories, and displays them in a clean interface. Your browser never contacts TikTok directly, so your IP, user-agent and cookies stay private.

We do not store stories on our servers. Every request is real-time and discarded after responding. This avoids copyright issues and keeps content always fresh: if the creator deletes a story, it becomes unavailable immediately.

What we do NOT do

• We never ask for TikTok credentials or any social login.
• We do not access private content or blocked profiles.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
• We do not display profiles of users under 13.
• We do not enable harassment, impersonation or stalking.

Business model

The service is and will remain free. To cover server, bandwidth and proxy costs, we display ads through Google AdSense. We use no paywalls, sell no premium subscriptions and never trade in personal data. If ads bother you, feel free to use a blocker; the service will keep working.
