DMCA Policy

Updated: April 26, 2026

1. Overview

TikTok Story Viewer respects intellectual property rights and complies with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) as well as Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the Digital Single Market. We do not host TikTok content on our servers: our system acts as a real-time viewer that displays public content hosted by third parties.

Even so, if you believe that an indexed profile or a story visible through our site infringes your rights, you may request its removal by following the procedure below.

2. How to file a DMCA notice

Send us a written notification that mandatorily includes the following information:

  • Identification of the work: description of the protected content (video, image, text) and original TikTok URL where it was published.
  • Location on our site: exact URL of the profile or story as it appears on tiktokstoryanon.com.
  • Contact details: full name, postal address, phone number and email.
  • Good-faith statement:"I have a good faith belief that the use of the material described is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law."
  • Accuracy statement:"I state, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  • Signature: physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.

Notices missing any of these elements will be rejected pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

3. Response time

Valid DMCA notices are processed within 24 to 72 business hours. Once the request is confirmed, we will block indexing of the affected profile and remove any cached references.

4. Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification through the same channel. It must include:

  • Identification of the removed material and its prior location.
  • Statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address and phone number, plus consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court where you reside.
  • Physical or electronic signature.

After receiving a valid counter-notification, we will restore the content within 10 to 14 business days unless the original claimant notifies us of pending legal action.

5. Repeat-infringer policy

We will permanently block profiles whose holders accumulate three valid DMCA notices. This policy is applied strictly and without exception.

6. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, costs and attorneys' fees. Reporting content that is not yours is illegal.

7. Non-DMCA inquiries

For general questions, check our contact page. Privacy and personal-data matters are detailed in the privacy policy.
